LINDA CRISPIN
Linda Crispin BFA is a painter and curator with an interest in the environment and our relationship to place and time. Exploring events, situations and places is what underpins her practice, and the constant craving for experimentation and exploration is what continues to drive this practice. Surface has been a key concern in Crispin’s work over recent years, with several series of images that use unconventional methods of application of pigment to substrate. The aim of this is to communicate a fragile tactility, which speaks not only of how we as humans tenuously grasp to life on this earth, but also of the trace we leave behind, in places, spaces and moments.
